Upon arrival in Kirkwall, Aveline gets a job in the guard. This makes her an honest character who will frown upon any questionable behaviour. If you have Aveline in your party, you should stay on the right side of the law unless you want her Triunfador a rival.

Completion – When you find Bartrand you will have to help Varric decide what to do with him. If you call on Anders to help you when the dialogue option appears, you can bring Bertrand back to his sense for a short amount of time.

However, the biggest change is Hawke and their relationship to the city. They quickly rise from refugee to the Champion of Kirkwall, moving from the gutters of Lowtown to the blue-blooded streets of Hightown, with their own estate to boot.

Isabela is an optional companion you can acquire when completing the Fools Rush In quest. She has a minor clash with Aveline that shouldn’t be too much of a problem. Being a Rogue, she wields daggers that deal damage swiftly.

While the player does have the option to flirt with Tallis contact me (and receive a kiss, depending on the player's choices during the DLC), it will have no effect on any romance they currently have with another character (though if present, all except Sebastian express jealousy). I have my own favourites within this elite group, namely Anders and Fenris. I know that Anders is a controversial choice because he essentially lights the fuse that triggers DA: Inquisition

has a fantastic story, but I also believe that the companions are the best the franchise has to offer.
